The hardest part (in reality not hard at all) is deciding on if you have print ready artwork ready to go or need our design team to help you make that final step to be ready for the print press. When going through your spec, simply choose "supply artwork" or "supply brief". If you choose the latter we'll email you with all the info we need from you, then let your creativity flow through your assigned designer. We're sure they'll be the perfect ally.

What Are Backing Cards Used For?

How Do I Supply My Artwork For Foiled Backing Cards?
We require two files for your foiled backing card artwork. The first file is for the foiled elements, all foil should be 100% pure black on a white background. The second file is for the print, all foil elements should be removed from this file.
What Foil Colours Can I Have On My Foiled Backing Card?
We pride ourselves on having one of the widest selections of foil colours available for foiled backing cards. Each of our colours are listed in the options above. If you wish to see any of our foil colours in person, why not order our foiled sample pack?
Can I Have More Than One Foil Colour On My Card?
With our double sided backing cards, you can choose to have a different foil colour on the front side and the reverse side. We are unable to foil multiple different foil colours onto the same side of the backing card.
Can You Design My Backing Cards For Me?
Absolutely! All you need to do is select “supply brief and we design” from the options above and supply our team with your awesome design brief. Our designers will be in touch with your design for your approval before we start printing your backing cards.
Artwork Requirements
The Basics
Allow 2mm of bleed around all artwork for cutting tolerances.
Format all artwork to CMYK.
Set your resolution to a minimum of 300DPI.
Supply your artwork in PDF, JPG or fully packaged AI formats.
Keep all text, logos and foreground images within a 3mm safe zone from the cut edge.
Separate all foil elements from CMYK artwork, place foil elements on a separate page, and supply as 100% K (black). See our helpful guide about how to supply artwork for foil printing.
Die Cut Or Kiss Cut (Shaped) Products Including Stickers
Indicate cut lines using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page.
Folded, Perforated or Drilled Products
Indicate any crease lines, perforation lines or drill holes using a 1pt magenta line on a separate layer or separate page.
